How to Find Your Identity
When it comes to your identity in Christ, it’s not about finding yourself … but losing yourself in God. It’s about letting go of the image you have of yourself. It’s about releasing who you wished you could be and holding on tight to who God says you already are. In this sermon, Trevor Knox gives us three questions to ask ourselves when it comes to our identities. We could listen to the lies of this world that tell us we aren’t enough. We could listen to the lies that leave us striving for love and wanting to prove ourselves. Or, we could turn to the Living Word that tells us we are God’s workmanship, dearly loved and enough because He says we are enough.
